So I know that none of you guys play street fighter
But just so you know, Street Fighter IV is totally awesome. Just thought I would let you all know. And if any of you guys do happen to pick it up lemme know.

I like it a lot. I own several versions of street fighter 2 and 3, though I really wouldn’t describe myself as hardcore at any of them. All I know is 4 feels a lot like street fighter 2 in all the best ways, with all the best characters, with a lot of reallly cool modern updates and touches. The game is clearly a labor of love to bring old fans what they want (mostly because 2 was so popular and 3, though in many ways a superior game was only popular with the aforementioned hardcore). Either way jeff I think you would really like it. But if you have the money for only one game i would go for resident evil

though i technically could really spend money on both i dunno, ive been really busy with music and shows lately. i might be able to split it or both of those with my roommates. i know one wants street fighter and the other might want RE5, shes a game art/design major so she might as well play something other than fucking smash brothers for a change

I kicked Jeff’s ass with that guy. We evened out in the end though. It really grew on me once I played it. Does NOT look cool to me from screens/footage, but it plays really really well.

Really ryan? I actually really like the graphics, but it looks much better in motion than it does in stills. The other thing i really like about it it its different than like soul calibur where everyone has like a billion moves and you can only know like one or two characters max. In SF IV everyone has like 3 or so moves that are pulled off mostly in similar ways so that you can conceivably play multiple or even all of the characters pretty good. Online i almost never play the same character twice in a row, which makes things fun. My current favorite is Zangief because theres nothing like putting someone down online with an ultra power bomb.

i seem to be pretty partially incapable of pulling off the damned super /ultra combos for some reason. i can do them but never when i want to. ive been pwning alot with scarlet but i need to play some other people. e.honda is alot of fun but his headbut is hard to do for me

ya im not going to lie i dropped 40 dollars on one of this sick mad catz fight pad controllers that look like sega genesis controllers. The thing rocks. Who’s scarlet? do you mean C. Viper? But ya the moves are kinda tough to do on the standard 360 pad. I’m all about Bison right now.
