The Parable of the Ninja and the Child
There was once a jar, and within it was a full meal of bread and a full meal of cake. Upon a certain day a ninja and a child, traveling together, came across this jar.
Now the Emperor had laid down a command, saying “The bread and the cake are not to be eaten.” And soldiers had been sent to prevent those who would take of the bread and the cake.
Knowing this, the ninja at once made battle with those soldiers that were found guarding the jar, and having overcome them, said “I will eat the bread, for it is good for the gaining of wisdom and the learning of powerful techniques.”
Then the child said, “And I will eat the cake.”
