Advance Wars

I’ve been really getting back into playing the original advance wars for GBA and I sort of realized how perfect it is. I have owned all the games in the series (4) and I think i can honestly say that it is the original that is the most balanced and the most fun. Every unit exists for a purpose and without waste, the CO’s are all simple to understand and use for strategy and not overpowered (except arguably for eagle but i just recently learned that his second turn move takes a 30% hit in attack and defense). Also the game has 4 player multiplayer, awesome 4 player multiplayer btw, right out of the box with one cartridge. That is fricken cool. You can even save and resume a multiplayer match. I don’t know of any other game you can do that in. The game even has player created maps and content. Getting to the point, I would love to have a night where we russle up like 4 gba’s and get like 4 pass around games going at once and just stay up late and watch a movie or something at my place. Can’t wait for you guys to all get home for the break!

Dude, AW is an amazing game. I’d be down for that.

My Dad has become hilariously good at that game, actually. He still plays it when he goes on trips, just going through the campaign over and over…

Always do it. I really like Dual Strikes also. I think the Tag Battle system is really neat.

ya i sold dual strike because i thought it was kindof overkill with all the special abilities, so i bought number four which is days of ruin which is a lot more down to earth.
