Obama Wins.

No words. Too happy. Here’s the text I just got from Dylan:

“A command point for the Democrats (California)
A command point for the Democrats (Florida)
VICTORY!”

Yes, that’s a Star Wars video game. Yes it’s awesome, and HOLY SHIT. Break out the brewskies, it’s a celebration tonight!

Stop Reading Blogs and Go Vote

I’m not going to tell you who to vote for this fourth of November. I think both candidates have strong pros and cons and may the best man win.

Seriously though the propositions are where the real business is. For the record I think 1A (high-speed rail), 2 (farm animal treatment), and 5 (treatment instead of prison for nonviolent drug offenders) are really good things and 4 (parental notification ahed of time for daughter’s abortion), 6 (nebulously allocated law enforcement money), and 8 (duh) are really bad things.

Hey Mock Trial Style folks: take a look at 9 — it changes the rules of evidence for hearsay. Basically if you were going to testify against somebody, and the somebody commits a crime to prevent you from testifying, then your friend can testify to what you said against the evil somebody, and it will be accepted for the truth of the matter asserted. Which is some kind of crazy.

Shout out to everyone not registered in CA – you probably have your own propositions and stuff.

In Which I Am Behind The Times But Moving Forward

So I’m playing Mass Effect. Just beat Feros. Onto Noveria. Yes I’m only like 5 hours in. I like it.

Roll call – who else played it? Cano and Ryan I know you did. But who else? What did you think? (No spoilers plz)

I’m bad at balancing school and other things. I look forward to the days when I can go to work for 8 hours, come home, and play video games till I fall asleep. Right now it’s more like I go to school for 8 hours, come home, and want to play video games but have to actually read papers and write stuff. Which sucks.
