Okay so about 8 months ago I bought myself this little thing called a Wii. It’s pretty awesome, even if it is being dwarfed by the now “in-its-prime” 360. I play it about once a week. By myself usually. Which is weird. I mean, didn’t I buy this thing as a party system? Aren’t there any good party games out there?
Oh yah: just picked this up today.
Only thing though, I’m still playing it by myself…
Okay, so follow me here:
This guy
is going to play this guy
in this guy’s movie.
Weird? A bit.
Controversial? Maybe…
Any good? Well, let’s just hope the “cover doesn’t match the book”, so to speak.

Actor Michael Madsen scheduled to appear at SLO Film Festival
By Sarah Linn
Michael Madsen, the smirking heavy behind such films as “Reservoir Dogs” and “Kill Bill,” will make two appearances at the San Luis Obispo International Film Festival, organizers announced this afternoon.
Madsen is a last-minute addition to the film festival, which kicks off Friday with a train-themed gala at the Santa Margarita Ranch.
He will make two appearances in San Luis Obispo next weekend, said Wendy Eidson, executive director of the film festival.
Madsen is set to appear at a screening of his 2007 boxing film “Strength and Honour” at noon, Saturday, March 15, at Downtown Center Cinemas.
He’ll also attend a March 16 screening of “Through Your Eyes,” a documentary about deaf-blind triplets that he narrates with frequent co-star David Carradine. That movie screens at 2 p.m. at the Palm Theatre.
The brother of “Sideways” star Virginia Madsen, Michael Madsen is known for his gravelly voice and intimidating screen presence.
His memorable turn as Mr. Blonde in Quentin Tarantino’s “Reservoir Dogs” includes a scene in which he slices off a captive police officer’s ear and douses him with gasoline –all to the tune of “Stuck in the Middle With You.”
He’s alternated turns as murderous crooks with the occasional softer role, such as a loving foster dad in “Free Willy” and “Free Willy 2.” Madsen has also recorded dialogue for several video games including “Grand Theft Auto III.”
So I know that a few (all probably) of you were hoping, praying, contemplating during your yogic meditations, asking during Salah, that the conclusion to one of the best series in the history of video gaming would be ported to your lowly 360 consoles. And, up until now, there was still plenty of hope, in the form of speculation and rumor, of course.
Well, let me dash just a bit of that hope with some cold, hard, facts: the game, according to Hideo Kojima, will barely fit on one 50GB Blu-ray disc! He complains “that a few features had to be cut from the game” already just so it could fit on one disc.
Upon seeing that headline my first thought was, well shit, there’s no way they can port it now. And according to the article it looks like a game of that size would have to be “divided between about five dual-layer DVDs.” Yet, in a feeble attempt to keep some hope alive, Lost Oddysey is on four DVDs, soooooooo, who knows, right? Let’s keep hoping, cause the only person I know with a PS3 is my brother-in-law and he lives in Florida……
Been awhile since I found or posted any H3 videos, so here’s one. Very queer betrayal. Video’s kinda long, editings good, but it kinda sucks cause there’s no real conclusion. Once you watch the replays the first few times, get a little chuckle, don’t bother going all the way to the end:
