We just built a race map in the fashion of Mario Kart racing. Its pretty fun, still trying to figure out how best to keep track of laps but we have a decent system right now, open for input. I took a few screen shots of the race that Morton, Boughter, and I were in with an overview (as much as possible of the map), they can be seen on my bungie.net page. Can’t wait to try it out with all of us!

So offroad is pretty much fantastic for about ten minutes, then somebody decides to hop out and plant trip mines at the u-turn, and five seconds later it’s chaos.

Nice. How did you keep track of laps? I uploaded the most recently updated map and gametype to my file share now. We decided that vip goal markers are the best way to do it so far even though you get anywhere from 4-6 points per pass through it. It adds a luck element to the game I suppose. It would be sweet to play the game with 2 per team so that the passenger can grab the power ups and swing his hammer at incomming teams. Actually that could be really chaotic but its worth a try.

yeah never mind about bumbing it. I downloaded a few courses by others and they clearly out perform ours.
