New Tagline
So, I believe that is due time that we come up with a new tagline…
“eight high school guys, a few xboxen, and a length of cat5 cable” has served us well, but is no longer… accurate. We need something that captures that same spirit of “Yes, we are going to punch you in the face” but also reflects the reality of our team today.

That’s right, the second season of Heroes. I’m sure y’all have other releases on your mind, but don’t forget about Heroes. Unless of course you’re trying to get all your homework done ahead of time so that you can play more H3. In that case, don’t worry about it–I think the Heroes episodes are going to be online again.

With 28 hours and counting to launch, the tidbits of info are turning into a shitstorm of intel. This newest collage of photos are all the permutations of the Chief and the Elites helmets / armors. First Review – IGN
In my tireless readings of popurls I have stumbled upon yet another Halo 3 related article: The First Review. For those of you who might not read, actually give credence to reviewer scores, or are just insanely impatient, they gave it a 9.5. Give it a gander, its 5 pages of juicy (though not spoilertastic luckily) reviewing goodness that should tide you over till 31 hours from now.
Edit: As Cody pointed out, another good, concise review is up at 1UP. No spoilers again.
Also, I forgot to mention, the IGN review actually complained that H3 didn’t have enough storyline about the Arbitor… WHICH IS AWESOME because that means it sounds like Bungie did it right when it comes to that joker.
Gathering The Troops
I believe, with little less than five days to launch, it’s time to rally the squad once more. We’ve all been entertaining the notion of solo or duo careers for much too long, its now time to quit the fantasy world and get back to reality: DNSH must fly together once more.
What I’m trying to say is, get those NUBS who aren’t posting anything to start posting again! Bookmark DNSH (and the RSS feed) and slap it into their bookmark bars. Use sticky notes, SMS messages, carrier pigeons, whatever means necessary to get them back and posting. I’m looking forward to just hanging and talking with you guys on a more regular basis again. Now that we’re all branching off into “real life” more than ever, with many of us graduating in the next few years, and some (one) of us already graduated once, it’d be nice to find some time to hang out with old friends, even if it is just online killing 12 year olds or co-oping it up for an hour every now and again.
Looking forward to killing some b@&*#es with you guys very soon.
