I thought you might be interested in some interesting business/philanthropy opportunities. I was watching Click the other day and came across these sites, first zopa.com which is not yet in the states but kiva.org is.
Anyway, if you have money sitting around these sites might be worth your time.

Kiva is awesome… You basically lend to people that are trying to start small businesses in like Mexico and Uganda, etc. And then they pay the money back after a few months and you can either put it back in something else, or I think you can withdraw it…
