That’s a sad story, but I mean, you do have to kinda think before you spend your family savings…

If the reasons someone has not built an invention are clearly not because nobody else has thought of it or knew how to do it well or had the resources to do it, that’s not a good sign.

Well, if they’ve been in videogames and science fiction movies for who knows how long, not to mention ancient stuff like plate mail, it’s clearly not a new idea.

I very strongly doubt that the military hasn’t at least experimented with ballistic suits. And they clearly have the resources to do it, so there must be another reason why they decided not to do it.
