The other way to get into the Halo 3 Beta

Rule of Three Program
The “Rule of Three” program is currently planned for gamers (17 years and older) in the 50 United States (includes District of Columbia) and Canada who have access to an Xbox 360 Pro console or an Xbox 360 Core console with hard drive, a valid Xbox Live Gold subscription and the Halo 2 game.

It is a two-step process:
1. Participate in at least three hours of Halo 2 multiplayer sessions on your Xbox 360 console via Xbox Live during the three (3) day period beginning February 1st at 12:01 am EST and ending February 3rd at 11:59 pm EST.
2. After the three day window is over, head back over to www.halo3.com on February 5th and register.

If you are one of the FIRST 13,333 to do this (and meet the above requirements) you will receive an invite notification in February to participate in the Halo 3 Beta.

Please note that if you registered to participate in the Halo 3 Beta during Phase One and were not selected, that does not preclude you from registering again for during Phase 2.

Northlandia

well today was my first day at expression and my god this place is amazing. my first two classes (or first 10 weeks) involve me and 5 other randomly grouped students making a short film. we do all the behind the scenes work like filming and audio and script writing and we need to hire/find actors to be in it. its gonna be awesome. ill let you guys see it when its finished (assuming we dont suck ass)

On another note, FF12 is godly. Im level 20ish and im just leaving the um tribe of people south of the giza plains who were supposedly gonna tell me how to use the nethicite and i gotta go to a mountain or something. the game does seem a tad easyish so far, but im sure it will get alot harder. didnt someone say garuda was an esper? cuz i got nothin from him.

anyone going to coachella this year? im planning on heading out there and camping if anyone would like to partake in the dead heat. its gonna be a mostly decent year this time around.

denny-o-thon

hey. i wanted to discuss the possibility of doing one during spring break. this could work if enough people are coming home during the break, if the breaks overlap, and if you have free time. there are many IFs but it’s possibly possible. KG’s break, for one, is march 10th to 25th, but he doesn’t know if he’s coming home or not. what say you?

http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3156398

The bear suit guy has moved on from the ursus and has created a functional light combat armor, that he designed with the masterchief in mind, that stops bullets and can be manufactured for a bit under 2000 dollars. O and it looks fu**** awesome.

Documentary Style?

Just had the chance to watch the original grunion runners for the first time in a long time and it still made me laugh out loud by myself in my room. I think the sequel should be either done documentary style, or at the very least quasi documentary style (like the life aquatic). I think the story should be simplified (i realized now after watching it again that the story for jose’s gold we have going is gonna turn into the matrix reloaded of sequels, as in totally untrue to the original and over the top). Here’s my first idea: A documentary following the grunion runners were scott admits to the team that they are in fact bankrupt and a trek through the wilderness to find the legendary jose’s gold (possibly with documentary interview style cutbacks to how it was that all the money was lost in the first place). Thus it would turn into sort of a journey film, like remember that movie alaska we always had to watch in school with the two kids trying to find there dad in a plane crash and they make friends with a polar bear? Something like that fused with the life aquatic/best in show stuff that we had done before.
