I was thinking about the plot and intro. I thought it would be cool if we had all split up since the first movie and one of us hears about the the gold
He then rounds up the runners, after convincing them its not a sham, for one last try at becoming legends

and then I thought the turning point in the movie could be that the gold story was not gotten from a reliable source. and the person who got everyone together knew this but just wanted to be around his pals again. In fact he received the info from a some ninja on the street.
Here comes another twist- the ninja is trying to get us all together and knew he could by telling the story. He is out to kill us for…I dunno not giving him enough lines in the first film?

I sent Eric an email asking him to take some footage of hitchhiking, bumming around in New Mex… on his way back to Cambria…
